Mr. Rama Naik
President, Nita Football Academy
Popularly known as Ramabhai, the NFBA President is a wellknown and a welladmired figure of Puri city. Though he belonged to a poor family, still he pursued his dreams in both studies and games. After passing I.T.I., at the age of just 19 he got a job in the railways and came to puri in 1991 all the way from his village Badampahada, Mayurbhanj district, Odisha.
While in service, he also used to impart football coaching to poor children. Eventually he established a club for
that purpose and didn’t hesitate to spend half of his salary for that reason. From 2015, with the support of Nita Football Academy, he is managing its Puri Branch.
He expects support from all quarters to successfully run the Academy which aims to bring glory for the country. For his dedication and passion for the game, the students of the Academy call him as ‘The Father of the Academy’. We hope that his dreams will be fulfilled with able support from the government as well as individuals.
